This was BOEM 1 Year Birthday Celebration
The BOEM 1 Year Birthday Celebration was a joyful way to celebrate one year of BOEM together. For this special occasion, we presented 113 original artworks from our first five editions, alongside the zines themselves, which formed an essential part of the exhibition.
For many visitors, it was the first opportunity to see these works outside the pages of the zines and experience them in a shared physical space. The energy during the opening weekend exceeded our expectations and filled the space with conversations, curiosity, and genuine enthusiasm.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us and celebrated this milestone with us. A heartfelt thank you to our 33 artists for their trust and generosity, and to everyone who came by to support BOEM and its community. A special thank you as well to Zebrastraat and Alleskan for their support and for helping make this celebration possible.
Celebrating BOEM’s first birthday this way felt really special, we can’t wait to show you what’s next!
This was Grafixx
It was an honour and a joy to collaborate with Grafixx on this thirteenth festival edition! For the very first time, visitors could explore BOEM artworks in an exhibition, meet and talk with our artists, discover our five editions, grab our prints at zinefest, and take part in our workshop. Together with the audience, we created more than 600 zines, allowing Grafixx visitors to collaborate with each other, with BOEM, and with the festival itself.
A big thank you to everyone who joined our workshop with such enthusiasm, admired the artworks, and supported us by purchasing our zines and prints at zinefest! We truly loved every moment.
