Release BOEM#6
With the presentation of BOEM #6, we celebrate our first publication of 2026! This edition marks a significant expansion: from this year onwards, the zine broadens its format to offer a platform to an even wider spectrum of artists. The core of the publication consists of a fixed team of fourteen makers, joined for this sixth edition by ten new talents and one established guest artist.

Artist Talks
During the release party, visitors are offered a glimpse into the creative process behind the zine. In two consecutive talks, the cover artist and the established guest artist will discuss their working methods. The focus will be on their sources of inspiration, the initial artistic impulse, and the formal development an image undergoes before being included in the publication (names will be announced soon).

Artists’ Market
Alongside the presentation, an artists’ market will take place featuring a selection of autonomous works, prints, zines, and other editions. In addition to the contributors to BOEM, several related zine makers have been invited whose practices resonate with our platform’s DNA. The market functions as a meeting place for makers and audiences, where exchange and the tangible nature of independent publishing take centre stage!
